Instructors: Karmisha Reeb & Kate Hartman

Date: Wednesday, October 5th from 9-12 pm

In this workshop we will build wearable and textile prototypes that sense and respond to a light touch. Special focus will be placed on the location of sensors and actuators; fabrication and integration of the circuit; and developing a satisfying sensor/actuator relationship that maps well physical social interactions.

Materials Provided:

  • Hall Effect Sensors
  • Resistors
  • Vibrating Motor
  • Magnets
  • Assorted jumper wire, alligator clips, resistors, diodes, etc.
