Join us for an afternoon of reveling in eTextiles on Saturday, April 7 in Wassaic!
On the afternoon of Saturday, April 7 from 1 – 6pm, we will open the camp to the public for a series of talks, informal discussions, small workshops, and an exhibition of camper work. If you are interested in the intersection of technology, craft, and/or textiles, we’d love to meet you and nerd out together. Here are some of the themes we are thinking about and focusing on during the camp.
ETextile Spring Break is completely self-organized and funded by the participants. As this event will be planned by us over the week, we will not have a formal schedule ahead of time, so come ready to jump in and go with the flow. We decided to call this a social because we want to get to know you, exchange ideas and questions, share work with each other, hang out, and grab a beer at The Lantern afterwards.
All are welcome and we ask that you please treat everyone you meet at the social with respect. eTextile Spring Break is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, skill level, physical appearance, body size, race, age or religion (or lack thereof). You can find our full Code of Conduct here.
We look forward to meeting you there!
